Discover Le Marais Through a Challenging Investigation

Explore one of Paris’s most fascinating neighbourhoods with an outdoor investigation in Le Marais, combining sightseeing, cultural discovery and challenging puzzles. From the elegant Place des Vosges and its 17th-century private mansions to the historic Jewish quarter, lively streets, street art and the Centre Pompidou, this experience takes you through the many different faces of Le Marais.

Along the way, observe your surroundings, solve the investigation and discover the stories, architecture and details that make this neighbourhood so unique.

A different way to explore Le Marais and discover Paris, designed both for curious visitors and for puzzle lovers looking for a real challenge.

Your Mission: Solve a Mysterious Bank Robbery

A bank in Le Marais has been robbed. Its safe has been emptied and, since the incident, the bank director has disappeared without a trace.

Your mission is to investigate what happened.

Armed with the police report from the day the director was last seen, follow the clues through the streets of Le Marais, observe your surroundings and solve a series of puzzles to piece together the events surrounding his disappearance. Each puzzle is independent, so getting stuck on one will never prevent you from continuing your investigation. And if you need a hint along the way, we remain available throughout the experience.

At the meeting point near Métro Saint-Paul, a member of our team will welcome you, introduce the case and provide everything you need to begin your investigation.

A Challenging Game – With Two Ways to Play

This is our most challenging investigation, designed for players who enjoy observation, logic and more complex puzzles. But you don’t need to be an escape game expert to enjoy Le Marais. We know that many visitors choose this experience first and foremost because they want to explore the neighbourhood. That’s why, at the start of the game, you can choose between two answer sheets:

Challenge mode – For puzzle lovers who want to solve the investigation with minimal help. Discovery mode – With additional hints to help you progress more easily, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the neighbourhood, its history and its hidden details.

Whichever version you choose, you follow the same route, discover the same places and experience the same investigation. And of course, you can contact us for a hint at any time during the game.

Discover the Many Faces of Le Marais

Your investigation begins near Métro Saint-Paul, in front of the remarkable Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis Church, before leading you towards one of Paris’s most beautiful squares: Place des Vosges. From there, explore streets lined with magnificent 17th-century private mansions and discover the aristocratic history that helped shape Le Marais. Your route then takes you through the historic Jewish quarter, with its distinctive atmosphere and traditions, before revealing another side of the neighbourhood through its lively streets, LGBTQ+ history and contemporary culture. The investigation finishes near the Centre Pompidou, where historic Paris meets bold modern architecture.

Along the way, keep an eye out for street art – including works by Invader – and take time to discover the cafés, shops and sweet addresses included in your game booklet.

Le Marais is a neighbourhood of contrasts: historic and contemporary, elegant and lively, monumental and intimate. The investigation gives you a reason to slow down, look around and discover the details that make it one of the most fascinating areas of Paris.
