Highlights of the Montmartre Route
Your Montmartre treasure hunt begins near Place d’Anvers, at the foot of the hill. Your first destination is the Sacré-Cœur, where one of the most spectacular panoramic views over Paris awaits. From there, continue towards the famous Place du Tertre, before gradually leaving the busiest streets behind to explore the old village of Montmartre and the places once frequented by the artists who shaped the neighbourhood. Follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh, Picasso and Renoir, passing iconic locations such as La Maison Rose, the Moulin de la Galette and the Bateau-Lavoir. Your investigation then leads you towards Place des Abbesses and the Wall of Love before heading down rue Lepic to the Moulin Rouge, where the final part of your adventure awaits.
Along the way, your game booklet reveals the stories, artists and hidden details that have made Montmartre one of the most fascinating neighbourhoods in Paris.
Your Mission: Authenticate a Mysterious Painting
A painting discovered at a Montmartre flea market may be the work of a great artist… unless it is an elaborate fake.
Your mission: uncover the true origin of the painting.
To solve the mystery, around fifteen challenges await you throughout Montmartre. Observation, logic, deduction, puzzles, cards and even a small board game specially created for the experience: each clue will bring you one step closer to the truth. The challenges are independent, so an unsolved puzzle will never prevent you from continuing your adventure. The information you collect along the way will help you authenticate the painting at the end of the experience.
At the meeting point near Place d’Anvers, a member of our team will welcome you, introduce the story and provide your game booklet and investigation materials. You will then set off independently to explore Montmartre, with assistance available throughout the experience whenever you need it.
