Things to Do in Paris: A Complete Guide to Food, Culture, and Landmarks

Updated: Oct 17

Planning a trip to Paris and wondering what to do? From iconic landmarks to delicious French food, there’s something for everyone in the City of Lights. Here’s a comprehensive guide to the things to do in Paris for your next adventure!

Things to do in Paris : Eat French Food

No trip to Paris is complete without indulging in some quintessential French cuisine. Here are three must-try French delicacies:

Croissant

The classic French breakfast pastry, best enjoyed dipped in a coffee or hot chocolate. You’ll find fresh croissants at nearly every bakery in Paris, but be sure to try one from a local favorite for an authentic experience. We often have customers who ask us where or if there are better places than others to have the best croissant. To be honnest, even the parisians don't know the difference from a croissant to another (unless they are chefs or have read an aticle or guide about it !). Just go to a regular bakery, you should enjoy it !

Macarons

These colorful, delicate pastries are a true Parisian delight. Stop by Ladurée or Pierre Hermé for some of the best macarons in the city. They make a perfect sweet snack while wandering through the streets. If you don't have time tom go in a specific macarons pastry, try macarons from a bakery (sometimes, they taste even better than Ladurée ;) ).
