Where to Get Ice Cream in Paris? Our Top 3 Picks

As everyone knows, it’s hot in July! And when wandering through the streets of Paris, what better way to take a refreshing break than with a delicious ice cream? At From Paris with Fun, we love it and we’ve tried many! Here are our top three Parisian ice cream spots:

Amorino: The Most Popular

Who hasn’t wanted one of those flower-shaped ice creams? Sure, it’s a chain, and until last year, we were quite reluctant to try their products, but we have to admit, they’re really good (the last thing that might deter us: the long queues). They’re located in many touristy neighborhoods and their shops are easily recognizable.

Our favorite flavors: blueberry cheesecake and chocolate-hazelnut.

Expect to pay €3.90 for a small cup (you can choose multiple flavors).

Berthillon: The must try Parisian Ice Cream

And one of the oldest too. It’s impossible to eat ice cream in Paris without visiting their shop. To get to the “real” Berthillon, you need to go to the Ile Saint-Louis (but all the restaurants on the island will serve Berthillon ice cream!). Besides the ice cream, the view of Notre Dame de Paris is stunning! (We take you close by during our scooter scavenger hunt, and the fourth tour we’re planning, a scavenger hunt, will pass through the Ile Saint-Louis. For a tasty break, it’s ideal).

We tried the praline-lime mix, it’s surprising. And if you try passion fruit, you’ll feel like you’re eating a frozen fruit! Delicious! Expect to pay €5 for 2 scoops in a cup.

Raimo: Another Parisian Reference Away from the Tourist Spots

You need to step off the tourist path to discover this neighborhood ice cream parlor, which is just as renowned as Berthillon among connoisseurs. Located in the 12th arrondissement, they offer a very wide range of flavors. Expect to pay €3.50 for a single scoop, €5 for 2 scoops in a cup.
